The culinary critic section from the Diario Sur newspaper granted a high score to Batik, Alcazaba Premium Hostel’s restaurant

The culinary culture has undoubtedly catered everyone during the past years and Malaga, as an Andalusian cultural and cosmopolitan city, does not intend to be left behind, so now it provides food lovers with an attractive and extensive offer. Right in the centre of this varied offer we can find the Batik restaurant, located at the rooftop of the Alcazaba Premium Hostel, the best downtown hostel of the city, which has occupied a privileged position since it first opened its doors. In the culinary critic section from the Diario Sur newspaper, “Málaga en la mesa (Malaga fooding)”, the renowned food critic Enrique Bellver highlights Batik’s culinary offer and grants the restaurant a fantastic score of 7.5 out of 10. Among the several reasons for his positive opinion, Bellver argues that “heading the Batik cuisine we can find one of the most interesting chefs from Malaga, Iván Bravo, assisted by another young talent with his feet on the ground, even if the restaurant is located at heights, Mario Rosado. Together, they bring to life and make the so-called ‘miscegenation cuisine’ come true”. He also describes the place as “one of the best options to find well-done cooking in Malaga“.
