The prestigious Les Roches Marbella school visits Alcazaba Premium Hostel to study our project

Alcazaba Premium Hostel has collaborated in a training activity for Les Roches, the prestigious international school of hotel management in Marbella, which took interest in our Malaga hostel, located in the city’s old town, attracted by our facilities and innovative business concept.

Les Roches Marbella is a leading international university specialized in the areas of travel and tourism. It ranks among the top ten schools of hotel management in the world with a higher educational prestige. Its alumni will become professionals in hospitality management with an international profile.

The people from the university, attracted by the design of our facilities, chose our hostel in the very heart of Malaga’s old town to perform an activity with the Design & Facilities Management students, imparted by architect José Ojeda. During this training activity, the students that visited Alcazaba Premium Hostel were asked to analyse and diagnose the architecture and engineering of a hotel property and then suggest innovative technical solutions, as well as setting the foundations for an environmentally-friendly management system in order to improve energy efficiency.

The activity was a total success and the students were able to analyse to the maximum extent the training concepts that were being studied. It was not only our architecture and modern interior design (flexible rooms, design rooftop terrace, etc.) that draw their attention, but also our efficient engineering and our extraordinary business concept, which makes us an innovative hotel company.

We feel deeply honoured to serve as a reference for an international university of this importance, often considered by HR managers as one of the top 3 best schools in the world. Les Roches has quality, environmental and social responsibility assurance certifications, granted by prestigious international organizations and, in 2010, received the X Andalusian Prize to Excellence in the category of Socially Responsible Management.

In their conclusions, they highlighted the innovation of our business concept, setting us ahead of the competition, which is primarily based on traditional business. It is no secret that we enjoy a privileged location in the very heart of Malaga’s old town, next to the Alcazaba castle, but adding an attractive offering, that is also modern and designed to fulfil our customers’ expectations to the fullest.

It has been a real pleasure to have the students from this university in our facilities. We will definitely be delighted to contribute again somehow to the education of the professionals that will shape the future of this industry.
