Visitors to our charming hostel had the opportunity to enjoy many unique events during the past 2017. Now that 2018 is here, it is a great time to look back and remember all those brilliant moments that we shared together at our hostel in downtown Malaga, always looking forward to new Premium experiences that await us in this New Year. First of all, our restaurant Batik deserves a special mention. Its characteristic fusion cuisine and its constant reinvention conquered the hearts and palates of locals and visitors alike. With its special menus, Batik adapts to the changing style of the Costal del Sol capital city season after season. This year we were delighted by film-like dishes, on the occasion of the Malaga Film Festival, as well as by seasonal menus, such as the Autumn leaves menu.
However, Batik not only reinvents its gastronomic offer. In 2017, our boutique hostel restaurant updated its design and, since then, it offers a more cosy and warm environment, full of the style that we also find in each of its dishes. Such is the impact of Batik on the gastronomic panorama in Malaga that, non-surprisingly, it was once again represented at the Malaga Gastronomy Festival. Festival that, in its fourth edition, brought together over 80,000 people, who could taste the international cuisine of our chef Mario Rosado. How could we not be proud of our restaurant!
However, Batik is not the only offer at our boutique hostel. At Alcazaba Premium Hostel there is much more to make your visit to Malaga a Premium experience. Take as an example our panoramic chill-out terrace that conquered the city from the heights. With spectacular views and varied cocktails, no one can resist! Cocktails that also adapt to every season and, in 2017, we enjoyed an offer of Christmas cocktails. Another of the successes of our hostel in downtown Malaga has been our offers for group. Event organizations, excursions, transport, cultural events… We are always in the front row to make our guests’ stay unforgettable.
Finally, we would like to complete this review in 2017 by thanking the splendid welcome that the new Premium Family members had: Malaga Premium Hotel, the first gastro-hotel in Malaga, with its restaurants Yubá and Bendito, which are already a reference together with La Terraza de San Juan. And, almost at the buzzer, La Fábrica arrived. From the merge of Cruzcampo and the Premium Group this new project came: a brewery with Cruzcampo craft beers, which we will be enjoying already in January 2018.
