On29 November you have an appointment in the city centre to inaugurate the lighting and the Christmas decoration of Malaga. In addition, this year Malaga premieres a new Christmas lighting, which will delight both locals and visitors alike. That’s great, isn’t it?
And it is a well-known fact that surprises never come alone! This year, Malaga will not only have completely new Christmas lights, but it will also dazzle with an impressive Christmas decoration in the recently inaugurated pedestrian area of the Alameda Principal. And, as we’ve told you above, the Christmas lights are not the only innovation for 2019. Thanks to the collaboration of Malaga’s City Council with the Premium Group and other sponsoring companies, Malaga will be able to enjoy this year an exclusive Christmas video mapping that will be projected on the walls of the Alcazaba and that extends the decorative offer along with the already known spectacle of lights and sounds of Larios street. In addition, so that you don’t miss this singular event, this projection will be shown in Alcazabilla street with three daily showings at 6.30, 8.00 and 9.00 pm.
The well-known company Firefly, which has already made other projections in historical monuments such as the cathedral of León, has been commissioned to create this exclusive spectacle for Malaga. In addition, this video mapping, entitled “Christmas Story”, will tell a current Christmas story set in the city of Malaga in which a girl promotes important values such as solidarity, companionship, generosity or gratitude. A great show of lights and sounds for the whole family to enjoy!
