As we mentioned in a previous publication of our Hotel Alcazaba Premium, the Malaga restaurant Batik was honoured to host the work by UVE MTZ as part of the photographic festival The Wall Photo organized by Apertura. This exhibition, La Belleza de lo brutal, was inaugurated on May 4 and remains open to the public until June 30. As part of the Non-Agenda Preámbulo, this event is an alternative plan to enjoy the artistic expression of its great author, UVE MTZ, and a multitude of works that reflect different portraits, in which one shuns personal beauty and seeks beauty in the environment.
However, the closing of this incredible photographic exhibition is approaching and we want to say goodbye to it in style. For this reason, our Batik Malaga restaurant invites you to taste an excellent menu with pairing inspired by the photographic exhibition that has accompanied us during May and June. The event will take place on June 29 at 9 pm and will have limited capacity, so hurry up if you do not want to miss the opportunity to experience gastronomy from another point of view.

Taste Batik’s menu with pairing and honour The beauty of the brutal by UVE MTZ
To start this menu, the Malaga restaurant Batik introduces Sardine – Sand– Smoke, a unique dish that will be accompanied by an exquisite beer Cruzcampo Gran Reserva. Then prepare your palate for the exotic taste of Spicy salmon and tropical pearl tartar and its companion, Daikiri of gin, cardamom, ginger beer and avocado. Are there better starters for this menu with pairing?
Let’s now move on to the main courses. First, we suggest a delicious Pacheri stuffed with truffled chicken whose flavour will be perfectly complemented with a glass of Menade sauvignon blanc. Is your mouth already watering? Wait, there is still the Tajin of lamb and false veil, a succulent dish that comes with a refreshing Cold tea with mint and rum.
